White balsamic vinegars are made by blending fine white wine vinegar with young traditional balsamic vinegar. Our premium, barrel aged white balsamic have the sweetness characteristic of balsamic vinegar and some of the tartness and consistency of white wine vinegar. Light amber in color, our all natural white balsamic vinegars are ideal for use in salads where the qualities of balsamic are desired, but the dark brown color of a traditional balsamic is not. The love and dedication that goes into producing this exquisite example of white balsamic vinegar has led to its P.G.I certification, which stands for Protected Geographical Indication; it is a high honor in the country with some of the world's highest standards for its food products. A P.G.I. certification ensures that the balsamic vinegar is made according to traditional, time-honored methods, using only approved ingredients and is produced in Modena and Reggio Emilia, Italy. PAIRING SUGGESTIONS:
The complex taste of A-Premium White Balsamic Vinegar makes this a perfect choice for nearly any kind of salad or fruit. Wonderful with feta cheese, red onions, orange wedges and cucumber, try this excellent white balsamic with any of our extra virgin olive oils for a very delicious, straightforward dressing. We especially recommend our Italian cerasuola, Itrana and Leccino or our Spanish Arbequina extra virgins with the A-Premium White. Mix with extra virgin olive oil, Dijon mustard, garlic and herbs for a classic vinaigrette for a summery Nicosie salad.
