CERASUOLA HIGH QUALITY EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL Our Gold Medal, estate grown Cerasuola extra virgin olive oil from western coast of Sicily is hand harvested, and pressed all within an hours, producing its highly prized organoleptic qualities. Cerasuola is a hearty varietal olive, medium in size and with a deep green color that turns black when ripe. It is also called Cerasara or Marfia. This is protected cultivar D.O.P. by Val Di Mazara and Valli Trapanesi. This season our Cerasuola olive oil turn out to have a high composition of Oleic Acid and high concentration of natural anti inflammatory agents such as Poly Phenol.
FLAVOR PROFILES: With its bold characteristics, and creamy smooth texture, our Cerasuola is a versatile olive oil that complements both vegetables and meats. Fruity and fresh with olive leaf overtone, floral and herbaceous with notes of hay, almond and marjoram along with a spicy and nice finish of green tomato.
