HIGH QUALITY SPECIALTY OILS
Asian sesame oil extracted from roasted seeds is called "fragrant oil" in China; it's a common flavoring in Korea, Japan and the Chinese province of Sichuan, where it's seasoned with crushed dried chilies. Japanese tempura is made by deep-frying battered vegetables in a mixture of one part roasted sesame oil and ten parts soy oil.

FLAVOR PROFILE:
Our delicious Roasted Sesame oil from Japan may just be the best tasting sesame oil you will ever come across. The roasting process brings out the delicious taste of sesame that is crucial to oriental cooking and many contemporary fusion dishes. This versatile oil is a must have in any "foodie" kitchen! Sesame oil is used in stir-fry dishes, and is an essential ingredient in many Asian dishes.

PAIRING SUGGESTIONS:
Pair it with our A-Premium White Balsamic vinegar or Honey Ginger White Balsamic vinegar for superb all-purpose vinaigrette, or with our Tangerine Balsamic vinegar for the ideal dressing for a Chinese chicken salad. Try sprinkling fried rice noodles, cucumber, radishes, and shredded carrots on your favorite greens and top with a sesame oil-accented dressing, and wow your dinner guests--or yourself. On our Blog you'll find a recipe for delicious Sesame Green Beans!
