This particular Arrabbiata Sauce is produced in a tomato-growing area of Campania, southern Italy, where this type of dish is extremely popular. Our Tomato Arrabbiata Sauce has a wonderful flavor of tomatoes and just enough spice for those who want an authentic Penne all'Arrabbiata, yet it is not overwhelmingly spicy. Our Tomato Arrabbiata Sauce is traditionally served with penne pasta; the shape of the pasta really allows the sauce to be captured in its folds. We love our Penne Gragnano from Gentile, or our Gluten-Free Il Macchiaiolo Rice Penne for those who are gluten-intolerant or just watching their gluten intake, as our sauce is gluten-free as well. A generous sprinkling of Parmigiano-Reggiano and fresh basil leaves or a drizzle of our Organic Crushed Basil extra virgin olive oil is all else that is needed!
