Our Farfalline Zebra are bow tie pasta noodles that are stylishly striped using dehydrated squid ink. Made by the artisans at the Marella pasta factory in Puglia, Italy, only the finest, local, Certified Organic ingredients are used alongside centuries-old techniques; the result is a pasta that swells slightly when cooked, has a delightful al dente texture and is full of flavor. The use of dehydrated squid ink as a dye ensures that the pasta will be just as vibrant and striped once it's cooked as it is in the bag.

PAIRING SUGGESTIONS:
Along with ensuring a vibrant inky-black color, the use of the squid ink gives the pasta a delightful seafood flavor. We love to use a seafood sauce with our Farfalline Zebra to really carry on the flavors - try them with our Puttanesca Sauce, which is full of olives, garlic and capers. Our Farfalline Zebra also make a dramatic presentation for pasta salad; add halved cherry tomatoes, fish and fresh herbs, and dress with some of our Organic Crushed Whole Fruit Lime extra virgin olive oil.
